Commenting on the results, Hind Al Kabawi, Athletics Technical Director at Sharjah Women’s Sports Clubs, said the performances at the UAE Vice President’s Cup reflected the clarity of the technical approach and the continuity of development across the different age groups.
“The results are not isolated achievements, but a direct outcome of sustained training and structured preparation programmes designed to progressively develop the athletes’ technical and physical capabilities,” she said.
“The fact that our athletes have set new national records across several events reflects the quality of work within the system and their ability to translate training into competitive performance. The range of achievements across track, field and relay events also demonstrates the team’s balance and the growing depth of athletes capable of competing at a high level.”
Al Kabawi added that the next phase will focus on “enhancing performance under pressure and continuing to improve technical execution, ensuring that this upward trajectory is maintained throughout the upcoming competitions.”
Collectively, the results underline the continued technical progress of athletics across Sharjah Women’s Sports Clubs. Individual excellence has been matched by strong team performances, with familiar names returning to the podium alongside a series of new national records — reinforcing a development pathway that has evolved beyond short-term success into a stable and increasingly competitive system.
