Sharjah Women\u2019s Sports Club athletes delivered strong results in the fourth stage of the UAE Archery League, held on 4 and 5 April 2026 at the Police Officers Club fields. The team claimed a number of individual medals and notable team results, in a performance that reflected technical consistency and integrated work across different categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the first day, 4 April, the qualification rounds confirmed the readiness of Sharjah\u2019s athletes ahead of the final stages. Samia Odinayeva topped the under-18 recurve category at 60 metres, followed by Mona Al Sharaa and Sheikha Al Ali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the under-21 recurve category, Sara Ali Abdullah claimed first place, while Noura Adel Al Mazmi finished third. In the women\u2019s recurve category, Fatima Al Baloushi led the standings, with Snehal Divakar finishing third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the compound bow events, Amna Al Awadi continued her strong form by topping the women\u2019s category. Marwa Salman Al Baloushi secured second place in the under-18 category, while Sara Adel Al Mazmi led the under-21 category, reflecting the team\u2019s steady technical performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the second day, 5 April, Sharjah athletes dominated the under-18 recurve category, sweeping the top three places. Samia Odinayeva won the gold medal, Mona Al Sharaa claimed silver, and Sheikha Al Ali finished third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Snehal Divakar also continued her impressive run in the women\u2019s recurve category, winning the gold medal, while Maha Al Hosani secured silver. In the under-21 recurve category, Sara Ahmed Al Baloushi earned silver, while Noura Adel Al Mazmi finished third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the compound events, Amna Al Awadi captured gold in the women\u2019s category, while Marwa Salman Al Baloushi claimed bronze in the under-18 category, in competitions that witnessed strong performances from athletes representing various participating clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At team level, Sharjah Women\u2019s Sports Club won the gold medal in the under-18 recurve 60-metre team event through the trio of Samia Odinayeva, Mona Al Sharaa, and Sheikha Al Ali. The team also secured bronze in the 70-metre recurve event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commenting on the results, Zakhar Tagaeva, Archery Coach at Sharjah Women\u2019s Sports Club, said the team\u2019s performance reflected positive aspects across the stage, while also highlighting important technical details that require further work in the coming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOverall, the team delivered a good performance, but we continue to work on improving certain technical aspects to enhance consistency and raise competitiveness. Each stage of the league gives us a clearer reading of the areas that need development, and we will build on that in the coming period,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
