The conference will be held as part of the accompanying events of the 8th Arab Women Sports Tournament.<br>\u201cExcel\u201d is an international scientific platform dedicated to bridging academic research and practical application in women\u2019s sports. It brings together leading academics, researchers, and experts in medicine and sports science, alongside coaches, referees, and professionals committed to advancing women\u2019s sports performance at the Arab and international levels.<br>The 2026 edition of the conference will focus on the theme <strong>\u201cIntegrating Movement into Education\u201d<\/strong>, presenting a contemporary scientific approach that supports holistic health and quality of life, while contributing to more effective and sustainable educational models rooted in knowledge and evidence-based practice.<br>Maryam Al Shehhi, Physiologist at the Scientific Center for Research and Sports Performance Development at Sharjah Women\u2019s Sports, said:<br>\u201cExcel Conference is built on a firm scientific belief that movement is fundamental to holistic health and balanced development, not a secondary element in women\u2019s lives. The focus on integrating movement into education reflects a research-driven and practical direction that contributes to improving physical, mental, and social quality of life, while opening the door to more impactful and sustainable educational and sports practices.\u201d<br>The call for research papers comes as part of Sharjah Women\u2019s Sports\u2019 commitment to supporting specialized scientific research and strengthening its role within the wider ecosystem of women\u2019s sports development. This approach aims to build applicable scientific knowledge, enhance training pathways, and support the transition from participation to higher levels of professionalism.<br>The second edition of \u201cExcel\u201d builds on the success of its inaugural edition, hosted in Sharjah in 2024 alongside the 7th Arab Women Sports Tournament under the theme <strong>\u201cWomen\u2019s Sports in Sharjah: From Participation to Professionalism.\u201d<\/strong> The first edition witnessed wide participation from experts, academics, and researchers in medicine and sports science, in addition to a strong presence of athletes, coaches, referees, and women\u2019s sports professionals from the UAE and beyond.<br>The inaugural edition helped establish the conference as a specialized scientific platform that addressed key topics related to female athletes\u2019 health, sports performance science, and sports medicine.
